We are thinking of getting a ragdoll kitten, because everything we've been reading indicates they are the perfect kittie. Our beautiful 14- year old Maine Coon mix (found out-doors when he was young) died in January. We still have two kitties, one 14-year old Russian Blue mix and an 11-year old American Shorthair (both found outdoors when they were young). We love animals and have lots of love in our home. We have no children, but also have a 2-year old lovebird. That was another reason for our wanting a ragdoll. We read they are nonpredatory and get along with everyone in the home. |

Aslan is his father. I have looked at Aslan's baby pictures and they look identical. I named him Kimba, which means "white lion". He is a absolute joy! His mother is Bonnie from JazznBlues. I tried to use his father and mother in his registerd name, so I named him "Aslan's Kimba Bonn." Loved looking at the pics of Deliah knowing that is his half - sister. I knew there was something very different about him from other cats that I have had. He was such a pal. He walked on a leash, he played hide&seek, he was my broach. I just loved that guy. Sadly he had a fatel disease. I now have a "grumpy" but very smart Seal Point Mitted named Cory. I just love him. He loves to go for car rides and go into the back yard on his leash and sleep above my head on his own pillow at night. He has his own "spot" in the livingroom too. I love Ragdolls! |

I currently have a purebred Norwegian Forest Cat (who is now about 5 yrs old) and several mixed breed cats that have been either humane society adopted, feral or a stray. The two that were humane society adopted are 10yrs old, the feral is 9yrs old and the stray is just 1 yr old. All are strictly indoor kitties.I feel it is safer that way. I am going to be watching your kitties progress but I love the look and the personalities that you describe. We have been a multi-cat, pets-only family for over thirty years. We currently have two "senior" Birmans - a 16 year old Sealpoint (diagnosed with a rare form of blindness about 9 years ago), and a 14 year old Flamepoint. With profound sadness, we recently had to have Casper, our 16 year old Lilacpoint mitted Ragdoll, euthanized due to complications from hyperthyroidism which had affected him for the past year or so. Last November we learned that our Ragdoll/Simamese has heart trouble and it is only a matter of time until we lose him. His sister Mischa has been diagnosed with Cancer and is fading away. I definitely am looking for a sealpoint male but think I would prefer an older cat rather than a kitten. I do not intend to show so a pet quality is just fine. Or perhaps a 'retired' gentleman? | Comments: | I love - love Ragdolls, I have had two. I currently have Cory a big sweet guy. Sweet as cotton candy I tell him. He is a Seal Point mitted. Frankie my other guy was a Flame point. These two oh my God. Frankie was the guy who followed me around and played fetch and was a 15 pound broch. Cory is not quite as cuddly but then again I did not get him in a pet store. Frankie is in kitty heaven. Cory is alive and well he sleeps with me tells the dogs what to do. Keeps the other cats in line. I have a Persian, and two long hair domastics one white and the other black. I have a full house, none of my cats goes outside. The two dogs don't either unless we are with them. I do love my Cory ( I love all of my babies just not as much as I do him for some reason.) TTFN |

One is a seal point and the other a mitted seal point. They are brothers. You will never regret the investment made in these lovable babies. My cats like to be rocked in your arms like a baby.
