Home from Holidays

February 17, 2010

We are back from our vacation.  Our house sitter did a great job and all the kittens are as fat as little butterball turkeys.  It was so nice to be able to relax knowing that everyone was in good hands.

If you are waiting on something from me (i.e. registrations) please remind me so I can get them sent out. I had started some registrations before I left but ran out of printer ink and had no time to pick up a refill.   Of course that was over 2 weeks ago and I'm having difficulty remembering where I started and where I left off!  Surprised

Charlotte is confirmed pregnant now and we hope that more of our breedings were successful.  If they are, we will have a nice selection of chocolate and lilac kittens this spring.

Several YOUNG Show/Breeders available

January 24, 2010

Please check the Available kittens page for three fantastic Show/Breeder Ragdolls that are available.

  • I currently have a CFA Champion male, 8 months, RED MITTED with a blaze.  He was named 'Plato' and he is a chocolate carrier.  A large male of 12+ pounds!  He is available to a cattery or to a pet home as a show/alter.  Plato is already very interested in girls so he's going to make a good breeder.
  • Elvis is a large 12 pound male in blue Colorpoint.  He's gentle, very affectionate and likes to be pampered and carried about like a baby on his back.  He's great with other animals as well.
  • Tiffany is just 5.5 months, she's a daughter of Horatio and Gwendolyn and a chocolate carrier.  This baby is a seal torbie point.  Tiffany has been to her first CFA show and will be placed as a show/breeder.  She's already over 7.5 lbs and a sweet, mushy kitten that loves everyone.

Lots of photos on the availale kittens page.  I will answer your emails up to Wednesday morning and then I'll be away till mid February.

Please Note: We'll be away for a couple weeks

January 23, 2010

Hi everyone

thanks for keeping up to date on what's happening here at Lions Royale Ragdolls.

We will be leaving for vacation shortly and will be back for the weekend of Feb 13/14

So if you are planning on picking up your kitten that weekend in Feb, please send me a note so we can arrange ahead which day and time you will be arriving.  I won't be able to respond to any emails from Wednesday Jan 27th - Feb 13th.

Our house sitter has moved in and kitties will be well cared for.  I might actually be able to relax while away.  Yay!  Cool  This is our first vacation in 15 years!!

Late Breaking News from Platinum Rags

January 13, 2010

I just received an email from Jaime at Platinum Rags in Missouri.  She told me that LIONSROYALE PLATO OF PLATINUMRAGS is now a CFA Champion! He had received his championship at his first show but with all the excitement (I had just sent her another boy - Chopin the day before her first show started!!) and she forgot to tell me.  Good Job Plato and Jaime!!  Well deserved for sure.  You had a lot on your plate last weekend but you pulled it off.

She had professional photos taken and will share them once she receives them.  Plato is a big red boy from Buzzby and Rosie.  Rosie is now retired so he's a limited edition.  Cool  Her site will reflect his win once she gets the photos back so she can update.

Lions Royale Ragdolls 2010

January 12, 2010

I'm a bit late with my first post for 2010 but we've had lots of interesting stuff going on through December.  I haven't posted about that yet.  It's keeping me very busy, that's all I'll say for now.  Wink

Speaking of busy, many of our Ragdoll owners have been very busy at the shows!!

Grand Premier Lionsroyale Whippette of Chiffondolls was back in the showhalls in Vermont. She attended her belated 'Grand' party there and Brig felt that she was relaxed enough to get into some rings.  She's sure glad she did!  Whippette came home with three finals!  3rd, 4th and 9th!  Good Job Whippette!  You continue to make your mom and me very proud.

Grand Champion Lionsroyale Blossom of Elonadolls in Austria is currently 38th best Ragdoll this TICA show season!!

Lionsroyale Plato and Lionsroyale Tiffany in Missouri were out to a huge CFA show this past weekend.  They belong to Jaime and Jeremy of Platinum Rags in Missouri. This was Jaimes first attempt at showing and the kitties were awesome!  Thanks so much Jaime for taking them out. I know that when they are old enough for champion titles they are going to do great!

Jaime and Jeremy plan to take their new boy Chopin out as well next month so I'm excited to hear how he does.

Lionsroyale Namie of Nabidolls flew to Seoul, South Korea today where she will be greeted by Champion Lionsroyale Napoleon of Nabidolls

I'm sure they will eventually make some beautiful champion babies together.   Lionsroyale Namie

Namie will be shown by Sung.  She is a stunning Seal Torbie bicolor kitten from Stella x Horatio so I'm sure she will have great success.

I hope to have news soon about upcoming litters.  I've decided to keep a beautiful blue bicolor male (chocolate carrier) for breeding in addition to Buzzby.  What's one more boy?  He's one of Horatio x Gwendolyn's kittens from the summer.  With Buzzby I can't produce bicolor lilacs or chocolates but with this baby I can.  He's also super sweet!  Namie

Be sure to visit the Available Kitten page for updates on any new litter announcements. New photos were posted of the blue bicolor babies from Feather. No babies are available but the pictures are VERY cute!

 Enjoy!

New TICA Champion!

December 15, 2009

Our beautiful baby Lionsroyale Cheynne of Cajundolls has been crowned a TICA Champion this past weekend.

Congratulations to Anne Paul of Cajundolls Ragdolls in Louisianna!

Thanks for taking Cheyenne out Anne.  It's not easy to show a Seal Lynx Colorpoint girl up against bicolors.  Cheyenne is also a CFA Champion!!

Anne is actively involved with fund raising for FIP research.  Please visit her site for more details on the three shows that she is organizing to raise money for Dr Pedersons research in hopes of eradicating this devastating disease.

Cheyenne is sister to Champion Lionsroyale Penelope who just achieved her FIFE Championship in Hungary at Daisy Dolls Ragdolls!!

What a litter of kittens that was from Champion Lionsroyale Ladybird Lola Legend (now living with Brigitte and Luc Jean Duguay in QC at Chiffondolls) and our big boy Buzzby!

Thanks to all for your hard work and dedication.

Blossom

New FIFE Champion!!

December 13, 2009

Our beautiful LIONSROYALE PENELOPE is now a FIFE Champion in Hungary!!  Laughing

Many congratulations and thanks to Hajni of Daisy Dolls in Hungary for taking our beautiful baby girl out!  It's not easy showing a colorpoint kitty up against Bicolors (which are the preferred pattern in showing).

Thanks again Hajni!!   It's wonderful news and well deserved for your hard work.

Back Online - Updates planned- website moving

December 10, 2009

Well, I'm back online. Computer is running and emails are working.

I don't have any of my old emails and have lost years of photos.

I'll try to import my old emails into this new email program that I'm using. Not sure how that will go but it's worth a try so that I can touch base with everyone.

Feathers babies are just fantastic.  Gorgeous big babies.  We have one Blue colorpoint (reserved to one of our current pet owners), a Blue mitted with a blaze (available) and 4 blue bicolor (2 or possibly 3 reserved for show if well marked).  A couple of the bicolor are also lynx.  Beautiful kittens. I'll get some photos tomorrow and make a slideshow.

These little babies are already purring and trying to greet me to get picked up.  I love it when they start off like that. It's the cutest thing ever!

I have another spot online where I'm planning to move my site!! I'm much too limited with the service I use now.  I'm not able to even edit my homepage with this old site.  Tech support hasn't been able to help. I think you will enjoy the new look once I get moved.  I'm planning awesome new features on my new site but I'll still have a blog, slideshows, photo pages etc.  It should be ready before the new year.  I'm sad that I lost so many photos from my hard drive  but a lot of them are on Photobucket so all isn't lost.

The site address will remain the same: www.lionsroyale.com It will simply look different because it's hosted by a different company.  I'm excited about the change.

Email issues - please resend your messages

December 3, 2009

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you have emailed me more than 2 days ago, I cannot reply.

All my emails are on my desktop computer along with my email addresses to contact you!  That computer has a virus that, thus far, hasn't been removed by the experts. It's been a royal pain.

My only connection to the net is through my hubby's laptop.  This means I'm using Webmail and if you haven't emailed in the past couple days your message is on my other computer and I can't get to it.  There aren't any contacts in my webmail so I don't have addresses to send you a note.

Please either resend or give me a couple days to get things on track.....I hope!!  If we can get onto my computer long enough to save my data then it can be reformatted and things will be back to working order.  I just don't want to delete years of photos and emails with pictures and updates on babies that we have placed over the years.  So I'm working hard to be able to keep all that.

I didn't realize how much of my life was on that silly thing!!

It appears that there are some people online that are finding great satisfaction in trying to slander Lions Royale Ragdolls through my blog. I allow my blog to be public so that anyone is free to comment so this type of nonsense is apt to happen.  If you have any questions about things that you may have read , please feel free to ask.  I'm happy to answer any questions that you may have.

As always, visitors are welcome.  My home is open to any that wish to come and check out Lions Royale Ragdolls for themselves!!

Finally! An update!

November 28, 2009

Sorry for the long delay in making a posting here.

Last few weeks I've been sick so I didn't feel up to posting on the blog.  Still under the weather. I think my cold has now developed into a stomach flu. So I'm not doing too much online.

Feather had 6 beautiful babies on this past Monday 23rd of November.  Looks like they are ALL boys!!  Seal and Blue. Some could be lynx marked.  They can be any of the three patterns: colorpoint, mitted or bicolor

Mom and babies are doing great. I'm very pleased.

On a sad note, Feathers former 'Mom', Lynn Weymark of Lazyloft Ragdolls has passed away.  She was only 46 but had aggressive cancer. She will be very sadly missed. Lynn was a fantastic woman, wildlife artist and a true animal lover.  Her Ragdolls were cherished members of her family.  She only had one breeding female and that was Feather.  Probably the smallest cattery ever.  :) She showed Feather and got her championship which was really wonderful.

I am arranging to take in and place Lynn's first Ragdoll, a neutered male named Shadow. He's a HUGE mushy Seal Mitted male.  So if you are looking to adopt a big, beautiful boy that is a real lover, please contact me.

My computer must have caught a virus from me because it has crashed and is in being fixed. I'm on my hubby's laptop but I really don't like it.  Also, I have no access to previous emails etc so if you have contacted me, please be patient. I will answer once my computer is back online and receiving mail.

Thanks for visiting the blog!!
