Admist ongoing technical issues that need to be ironed out, I have prepared a new slideshow of Stella kittens!  It says they are 25 weeks but it should read 2.5 weeks. I always forget that I can't use any dots or punctuation in my descriptions.

 Please watch with caution. You may experience 'cuteness overload!'.  They really are adorable babies and BIG too.  They just love to be handled.  One baby I call Eeyore. He has the same posture as the silly donkey in Winnie the Pooh and is so easy going.  See him laying in my hands in the photos.  I give him little 'raspberries' on his chubby belly and he pats my nose with his little paws.

 Three are being evaluated for show potential as they are very nicely marked and are a great size.

 One baby in the pictures is Lola's seal mitted baby boy that Stella is very happily fostering.  She is just such a darling, that girl.  Very accepting as I moved and shuffled kittens to ensure all were being fed in the early first days.  Being a first time mom, she's very relaxed and mellow about it all.  Babies have just left the nest today!  They were crying and climbing to escape so it's time.  Now they can start to leave the bed area to get into their little kitten litter boxes and start their training.

 I will begin making them some yummy food to entice them and give Stella a bit of a break.

It's been a couple of sleepless nights but definitely worth it.

Lola has given birth to 5 beautiful babies late in the evening July 9th and then Stella started having her babies midnight so technically her babies were born July 10th!  She also had 5 babies!

 Stella is a first time mom and a perfect one at that.  She delivered her babies quickly and easily.  I didn't need to assist in any way.   She has lots of milk for the little ones and they are quiet and content.  She's very mellow and laid back.  She doesn't mind me checking the babies and puttering about in her nursery....as long as I come with food!!  She's got an excellent appetite!!

 Lola's babies are all currently reserved.  Once these babies are weaned, Lola will be on a long hiatus from breeding.  She's had amazing babies for us and deserves a good long rest.  Now, if only I can keep one of her babies for myself!!  That would be perfect!

Finally an update!

 We have had a lot going on here with some kittens headed home, Illness, computer glitches and a death in the family.  

I need to have my computer tuned up due to constant crashes at the most inopportune times and I also need my satellite repointed so I can upload photos and videos again.  It's a big headache having to take my computer in for tech support but I guess I'd better do it now before the crashes are permanent!!

Tonight Lola and Stella are competing to see who can have their kittens the fastest. So far Lola is ahead by three.   It's going to be a sleepless night for us all.
