Quick update on my plans to move Lions Royale Website to another host. The host I had in mind is actually much less accomodating than I thought they would be. The templates are much more difficult to navigate and the learning curve is too great for me right now. I just don't have time to mess around with that.
So, the site will stay parked here where it is. I will do some revamping, new photos and freshen things up over the next few weeks.
As many of you know, I was a long time West Highland White Terrier breeder. I still have my old gal Paddington Bear who will be 11 years in September. We adore her. She's a little tomboy, always getting grease down her back from getting under the vehicles. A wonderful member of the family nonetheless.
I missed my little terriers and so last year we welcomed some new little terriers into our home. They came hand delivered to us from Europe. No, they aren't Westies. They are actually a very rare breed originating from Germany called 'Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la pom pon!!'. A long name for a tiny dog. :)
They aren't currently recognized in the major dog associations so they are shown under the rare breed category.
On Sunday August 15th we welcomed our first litter of puppies!! Momma is Delilah who weighs a whopping 4 pounds and dad is Oliver who weighs 5 pounds. Delilah had 4 beautiful babies.
I will be posting a website for these amazing little dogs so any of you doggie lovers can watch the puppies grow. The kennel name is "Ultimate Toy". I will post a link once I have it ready.
So we will have large cats and tiny dogs! I'm sure they will all get along just fine. So far so good. :) The doggies are small enough that they recognize that the kitties are to be respected. They are a very quiet little dog, total lap dogs so they fit in well with the kitties! They are like the Ragdoll of the canine world.
Three litters of Ragdoll kittens are due over the next 4 weeks so that's very exciting for us.
We are currently preparing to send kitties to Argentina, Germany and Brazil!! Watch for updates on those kittens as they enter the show world in their respective countries.
Things are busy, busy, busy!!
