Well, it's been a hectic few weeks here.
Some very sad news about Cookie and this highly anticipated litter. She had to have an emergency C-section, two babies with their heads in the canal at the same time. Unfortunately all babies were lost. This is our first C-section with a kitty and it was traumatic for all of us. Poor Cookie. She never developed any milk so at least she didn't have that discomfort on top of everything else. We were so excited to welcome these little ones.
Cookie is doing great and is back to her normal affectionate self and still wants me to carry her like a baby and tickle her little belly, even with that nasty incision there. She's a very precious girl.
Clarabelle (Cookie's sister) has most of her babies headed home this weekend. Just one fellow still home here and he's feeling a bit lonely but has Lancelot to wrestle with so he's ok.
A couple kitties have come available that had been reserved or were on evaluation. We currently have the following babies available:
Chocolate Lynx Point Female - PET
Chocolate Point Male - available as a breeder or show/alter (pet)
Seal Lynx Point Mitted Female with blaze on the nose (*Chocolate carrier *) Breeder or pet (Champion Feather litter)
Seal Lynx Point Mitted Male - as show/breeder or show/alter pet (*Chocolate carrier*) (Champion Feather litter)
Blue Mitted Male - show/breeder, show/alter pet (Champion Diego and Ziva Litter)
Blue Point Male - show/breeder or show/alter pet (Champion Diego and Ziva Litter)
Blue Point Male - PET (Clarabelles litter)
A litter is due next week and we have two due in late August. We have begun taking deposits on specific colors for these litters. If you are looking for something particular, be sure to email to see if that color is expected and to reserve your spot.
Thanks to all the families that have adopted a kitten! I appreciate all the emails and updates and photos!
