Changes at Lions Royale

October 3, 2009

There has been quite a few topsy turvy events here at Lions Royale!

Some exciting news for us. After 15 years without taking time away for ourselves, my husband and I will be heading south for two weeks this winter.  From the end of January till the middle of February.

That would mean a lot of work for someone who will be house sitting for me!

So....in view of that, we've decided that it would be best to downsize quite a bit before our vacation.

It's been a tremendously difficult decision but we have allowed quite a few of our cherished Ragdolls to go to new homes.

Cadbury will be a beloved pet in Toronto.

Stella is flying to Europe

Lola is going to live with a dear friend in Quebec at Chiffondolls Cattery.

Rosie is available as a pet

Charlotte will be available as a pet in January

Since I will only have Buzzby for a stud cat right now, I will make Gwendolyn available to a small cattery as well.  She is Buzzby's daughter.  Gwen is a Lilac Lynx Point Mitted.  Nice big girl with the perfect personality.  Excellent mommy too.  Her first litter of 6 babies is amazing.

That will allow me to keep Annie-bella (Lilac Point), Cookie (Chocolate point), Clarabelle (Seal Point chocolate carrier), Ziva (Blue Tortie Point) and Champion Feather (Blue Lynx Point mitted).

It's  been a tremendously difficult thing to do but we really need to get away for a change of pace so that we can return with renewed vigor and dedication.

I know this will be a huge surprise to many who know me!  Especially since Cadbury, Lola and Stella are three of my most cherished kitties. It means a lot to me that they will be cared for and loved in their new homes just as they were here.

Blossom, Your precious baby-girl Lola will be treated as royalty in our home. Any baby of yours is a treasured kitty is our hearts. Never worry of her well-being as her health and happiness will always come first. A true friend that really loves you and I'll never be able to thank you enough to have introduced us to this wonderful breed. My forever princess, Whippette, who was the CFA history making baby, who Granded with CFA as the first-ever Ragoll in the colorpoint pattern, will always be our biggest treasure. Brig xxoxxo

Blossom, as you know, I love your website. Check it out at least once a week. I know how you must feel about letting these gorgeous cats go, but I know they will have very special homes. Remembering Lola as mother of Crockett, Dakota is doing fine, he can be a rascal sometimes when is not getting attention. Thanks, again, for all of the trouble you went through getting him to me. Hope you Dave have a wonderful vacation, you certainly deserve it!!
